Together with our customers, we are working to protect against, and ultimately eradicate, debilitating and life-threatening diseases using vector control solutions and we have set our sights on evolving pest management to protect public health and hygiene and to improve food security and safety.

Vector control uses a variety of interventions to target mosquitoes and other insects in order to protect millions of people around the world from vector-borne diseases.
Our expertise has shown us that Vector Control needs a holistic approach if it is to be truly effective. With our 360° activities, we provide an innovative product portfolio, interdisciplinary partnerships, training, and education programs as well as global advocacy.

Global Challenge:

Over half the world’s population is at risk from vector-borne disease such as malaria, dengue, chagasdisease and leishmaniasis.
Diseases transmitted by mosquitos alone cause the deaths of 700,000 people annually.
Mainly affecting the tropical and subtropical regions of the world, the control of insect vectors is critical in the absence of effective vaccines against most of these diseases.
